Resubmission
  • Contributions can be either bilingual (English-French) or submitted in French.
  • If written in French, a contribution must have an abstract in French and one in English of no more of 100 words each.
  • Contributions in English should include an abridged French version (of no more than a printed page) instead of the French abstract. In the case of an article written in English, the ‘Académie des sciences’ could, if necessary, at the request of the author, provide the translation in French of the abstract and abridged version. This translation would be submitted to the author for approval before publication.
  • Short papers should not exceed 8 printed pages.
  • Review papers and historic chronicles should be limited to 12 printed pages.
  • Notes should be limited to 6 printed pages. However, contributions may exceed these limits with the permission of the Editors.
  • A printed page is equivalent to 6 000 characters in total, including letters, symbols and spaces; a quarter-page figure is equivalent to 1 500 characters.
